Commissioner’s Choice Matches- Last Cycle, three matches were somehow combined into a six man match.
This cycle I will do one match. I think we only get between 3 and 5 if there are 30 to 50 cards.
AAL Hall of Famer The Mail Man takes on Jason Adams.
Mr. Ortiz w/ News & Gossip
The Eye Sees- Me suspending my secretary for transcript misprints. Good help is hard to find these days.
-Fuel super kicked his way to retaining the AAL Title. Some of the matches were entertaining. He opened the cycle winning in a ladder match over Pat Burrell. Last cycle he beat Burrell in the last main event, not the first as printed in my news.
-Longest match: 58:12 beating the 7’4” Atomic Destroyer.
-Bunny & Squirrel continue to dominate the tag team scene.
-Robert J. Smiley respects the PAIN stable, but was disqualified against them last cycle.
-Can O’ Beets tried to prove he’s not a jobber by beating other jobbers. He lost to everyone else.
-Beets lost to Thunder Warrior by count out in Rangoon when he ran away. Yep. You showed him.
-Atomic Destroyer won the spectacular four man battle royal in Helsinki, eliminating everyone. Afterwards, the ring was pelted with trash and chairs.
-Ed Shears won his first match since June. Unfortunately it was against Y2Jim.
The Ear Hears
-Fans are getting tired of seeing the UL/AOE stable losing by DQ and count out. Some fans have been leaving AAL Shows early.
-Robert J. Smiley & Dragon Tears lost 2 more tag team matches. Tears was pinned both times this time. Smiley was very angry and does not want to team up with Tears again.
-Fans were captivated by the Cheesemeister Slam and want to see more of it.
-The AAL rumored to close this cycle.
-Fans have been booing wrestlers who don’t do interviews or promotional appearances.
This had been Mr. Ortiz.
Danny Robinson Memorial Bluegrass Brawl-update
Due to time constraints, it is postponed until next cycle.
2006 AAL Hall Of Fame- Update; Next cycle, I will announce some of the nominees. Klytus, you are the foremost expert on this. If there are any old school guys who are not around, send me a message through pen pal policy and let me know of their accomplishments.
Tag Team Battle Royal- Enter your teams. This is the second time in three years I have done this contest. It will take place at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. We will take advantage of the Jumbotron on Times Square. A lot of free publicity for the AAL. The plaza will be packed with 25,000 fans. I can’t say how many who don’t have tickets will show up. Teams I need 5 holds from 1-60 and 3 from 61-90. The winners will split $50,000. I will make sure you actually get it. A lot of my cash awards haven’t been handed out due to lateness and emailing.
That is all for now. Until then,
Swan.
